Insulation Characteristics
Insulating sheath made of extruded, non-welded, closed-cell expanded polyethylene with a very high vapor diffusion resistance factor (anti-condensation 15000) and a Class 1 fire behavior. Polyethylene expansion occurs without the use of harmful CFCs and HCFCs, as required by European Regulation CEE/UE 2037/2000.
Thermal conductivity at 40°C 0.40 W/m*K
Usage temperature -80°/+100°C
To prevent the crystallization process of polyethylene exposed to sunlight, the insulating sheath is protected by a silver-grey LDPE film that absorbs UV radiation while maintaining its insulating properties. The anti-UV additive does not interfere with the halogen-free flame retardant present in the LDPE film.
Fields of Use
Specific for air conditioning systems and the transport of refrigerant gases R407C, R410A, and R32. Particularly suitable for areas with high solar radiation.
