Post-cleaning acidity neutraliser for heating systems – System Neutraliser Fernox 2 L Description:
System Neutraliser is designed to neutralise any acid present in the system after cleaning with an acidic cleaner, such as Fernox DS40 Descaler & Cleaner, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations before disposal of wastewater. System Neutraliser also conditions the system for the application of a corrosion and limescale inhibitor.

Application:
For detailed information on the use of DS40 Descaler & Cleaner and Neutraliser for cleaning a central heating system, refer to the instruction leaflet inside the DS40 pack. The product can be poured directly into a powerflushing unit, through the feed and expansion tank, or (in sealed systems) through a suitable dosing point, e.g. a radiator. One bottle of System Neutraliser (2L) is usually sufficient to neutralise one bottle of DS40 Descaler & Cleaner (1.5 kg) after cleaning a central heating system. Once any debris has settled to the bottom, the system water should appear yellow in colour. If the water remains red, add more neutraliser. The system must be drained and flushed several times with fresh water until the discharge water runs clear. After the final drain-down, the use of Fernox Protector as a system inhibitor is recommended. For single feed indirect tanks, e.g. Primatic or similar models, potable water chemicals must be used.
