APPLICATION: The entire series is designed for use with fluids classified under Article 13, paragraph 1, letter b, of the PED Directive 2014/68/EU as belonging to Group 2, i.e., non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-explosive fluids; this macro Group also includes refrigerants, which belong to Group A1. The entire product range includes normally closed valves, meaning that when the coil is energized, the valve opens.
CONSTRUCTION: The body and flange are made of hot-forged brass EN 12420 – CW617N, and the seal between these two components is ensured by a special HNBR compound gasket. The valve sleeve is made of austenitic stainless steel AISI 305 – 1.4303 and houses the fixed and movable cores made of ferritic stainless steel AISI 430F – 1.4105; the reaction springs inside the group are made of austenitic stainless steel AISI 301. The EPDM sealing rings, placed above and below the coil, ensure perfect isolation from oxidizing agents. The welded connections in ODS models are made of copper tube EN 12735-1 – Cu-DHP.
