Antifreeze and inhibitor – Antifreeze Protector Alphi-11 Fernox 5 L Description:
Antifreeze Protector Alphi-11 is a combined antifreeze and inhibitor product that provides protection against internal corrosion and limescale formation in heating systems. Antifreeze Protector Alphi-11 is suitable for use with all metals and materials commonly used in heating systems. For long-term protection, ensure concentration levels are maintained and checked annually as part of the boiler or system service. Available as a 5-litre liquid product, Antifreeze Protector Alphi-11 is compatible with all other Fernox products.

Application:
A minimum in-use concentration of 25% is recommended to ensure adequate corrosion protection. This concentration protects to temperatures down to -11°C. A 40% concentration protects to temperatures down to -22°C. Alphi-11 Antifreeze Protector can be introduced via the feed and expansion cistern, or injected directly into the system through a suitable access point (e.g. dosing vessel). Introduce the product after draining a volume of water at least equal to the volume of Alphi-11 to be added. Start the circulation pump and run the system for a few hours to achieve even distribution of the product.

For single feed indirect cylinders, e.g. Primatic or similar models, potable water chemicals must be used. It is recommended to thoroughly clean and flush untreated systems (in accordance with BS 7593:2019 and Benchmark) using Fernox Cleaner F3 before treating with Fernox Alphi-11 Protector, as debris may damage the installation.

Fernox Alphi-11 Antifreeze Protector is available in 5 and 25 litre containers.
Fernox Alphi-11 Antifreeze Protector is classified as non-irritant and non-hazardous, but as with all chemicals it is recommended to keep out of reach of children. Do not mix with other chemical products, except Fernox products. Do not ingest. In case of contact with eyes or skin, wash immediately and thoroughly with water.
