Hermetic bi-flow filter driers, types DMB and DCB, are intended for use in the liquid lines of heat pumps. Hermetic bi-flow filter driers are equipped with integrated check valves that ensure the refrigerant liquid always flows through the filter from the outside of the core toward the center. In this way, all dirt particles are retained regardless of the flow direction.
DMB and DCB filter driers ensure rapid and effective adsorption of moisture, as well as organic and inorganic acids.
In the construction of heat pump systems, the use of bi-flow filters can, depending on the type of system, save up to ten soldered joints. This reduces production costs and the number of potential leak points.
